Leftovers:

a morning silent moment

Sunrise at 7:05. At front there is Pirköyri's glow, a good navigating target when arriving to Kotka at night from the sea. Behind lies the Ruotsinsalmi surrounded by Kotka's coastal islands. After that, if they could be seen, are Hamina and Vehkalahti and their islands.

I'm Soooo strong, but so is my grandma, too. We need birch wood in case of frosty nights.

Kaurakari is far too small island for wood cutting, so we have to import it. One square meters load can be brought at a time on fly with Yamarin 415.

Fun with Terhi Fun 405.

First warm boating weathers are closing, but the sea is still under +15C.

Taking a memory

In August it is best to come out here and enjoy. This is a look from Aarholmas Luoto to South - South - East.

Hello, It's me again.. Haapasaari on the horizon.

South From Ulko-Nuokko, about 10 km westwards from the photo above. Behind me opens a big area without any shelter until the Haapasaari, so usually it is not so comfortable to go out there with a small four - meter fishing boat like ours. You just have to wait for the right moment when the weather is nice.

That's all I wanted to contribute for now. More to come after the summer -99.
